Sonic is a free and open source 3D binaural audio Library, built in C/C++ and optimized for mobile devices. We wanted to make an accessible toolset for developers who are interested in creating living and dynamic audio environments.

A virtual reality meditation system, that brings together disparate hardware to create a holistic experience. We're combining biosensors, virtual reality and Kinect motion detection to create an unforgettable experience.

Graphic Tone is a team of ETC students working towards redefining the concert experience. We are working with Dr. Marilyn Taft Thomas, from the CMU School of Music, to add another dimension to a seemingly passive music-listening experience onto the concert stage. We will be using the latest technologies in sound capture, gesture motion capture, and visualization techniques to bring to life a colorful, abstract eco-system, which will be driven by the live performances of the musicians.
